**Disclosure:** Searchmaxxed wrote this list and is in it, and we put ourselves first.

The best roofing SEO company gets your phone ringing when homeowners search for roof repair, replacement or storm damage in the towns you serve. It shows real roofing results and publishes its price. It also tells you exactly what stays yours if you ever walk away. For a US roofer who wants to be the answer in Google, in the map pack and in ChatGPT, our pick is Searchmaxxed.

Seven more are worth a call: Hook Agency, Roofing Webmasters, RoofingROI Labs, CinchLocal, Footbridge Media, Thrive and Relentless Digital. We read every agency's own website on 3 November 2026, and each entry below uses only what that agency publishes about itself. This is our own selection. No award body, survey or client rating sits behind it.

## In summary

The right roofing SEO company depends on your size, your budget and how much of your market you want to own.

| Your roofing company | Call |
| --- | --- |
| Wants to be the answer in Google and AI search | Searchmaxxed |
| Growth-stage, $3M+ revenue, big budget | Hook Agency |
| Wants a low upfront cost | Roofing Webmasters |
| Wants price ranges and month-to-month terms | RoofingROI Labs |
| Wants no rival roofer on the same agency | CinchLocal |
| Small or new, tight budget | Footbridge Media |
| Wants a large agency with many reviews | Thrive |
| Wants SEO and Local Services Ads together | Relentless Digital |

Published roofing SEO prices on these eight sites run from $249 to about $5,000 monthly, before any ads or a new website. Ask every agency the six questions under "How should you choose a roofing SEO company?" before you sign.

## Which roofing SEO companies made our shortlist?

Eight companies made our 2026 list. Five publish some kind of price, and seven publish an offer for AI search, from AEO and GEO to tracked ChatGPT prompts.

| Agency | Best for | Published pricing | AI search offer |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1\. Searchmaxxed | Roofers who want to be the answer everywhere | Quoted after a free search analysis | AEO and GEO in every managed package |
| 2\. Hook Agency | Growth-stage roofers over $3M revenue | Local SEO + AEO, $3,750 monthly | Tracks 25+ ChatGPT prompts monthly |
| 3\. Roofing Webmasters | Low upfront cost, roofing-only team | $99 to start; monthly fee not published | AEO for AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity |
| 4\. RoofingROI Labs | Published ranges and month-to-month terms | $1,000 to $5,000 monthly for SEO | AI SEO in its Full SEO Campaign |
| 5\. CinchLocal | One roofer per market | Not published | An AI SEO page for roofers |
| 6\. Footbridge Media | Small roofers on a tight budget | $249 monthly, website included | AEO and GEO included |
| 7\. Thrive | A large agency with many reviews | From $500 monthly (small business estimate) | A separate AI SEO service |
| 8\. Relentless Digital | SEO plus Local Services Ads | Not published | None on its roofing page |

Price is only half of it. The other half is the contract you're signing, and what stays yours if the work doesn't pay off and you move on.

| Agency | Contract terms | What you keep if you leave | One roofer per area |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Searchmaxxed | Monthly, six or 12 months | Site, code, content and data | Ask |
| Hook Agency | Ask | Website and ad accounts | Ask |
| Roofing Webmasters | Month-to-month after the $99 start | Ask | Ask |
| RoofingROI Labs | Month-to-month as standard | Website, content, ad accounts and CRM | Ask |
| CinchLocal | Cancel anytime | Ask | Yes, by policy |
| Footbridge Media | No contracts | Your website | Ask |
| Thrive | Ask | Ask | Ask |
| Relentless Digital | Ask | Website, domain, content and Business Profile | Ask |

"Ask" means the pages we read didn't say. The agency may still have a good answer, so put the question to them on the call and listen to how they answer it.

## How did we choose them?

We started with the companies Google showed US searchers for "roofing seo company" on 3 November 2026, including those its AI Overview named. Then we read each one's roofing, pricing and results pages. Five things decided it:

1. **Roofing proof they publish**. A named roofer, or a named contractor, with a number and a timeframe attached, and we quote each result as that company's own claim.
2. **Local search work**. Google Business Profile, the map pack, city pages and storm-damage pages, because that's where the calls for a roofing company come from.
3. **Published price and terms**. What it costs each month, how long the contract runs and what it takes to leave if the results don't come.
4. **What you own**. Your website, domain, Business Profile and ad accounts, if the relationship ends and you walk away to another agency.
5. **AI search**. A published offer for Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity.

Searchmaxxed sits first because we wrote it. This list measures what each company shows the public, a different test from how its clients feel, so call two or three of them.

## 1\. Searchmaxxed: best for roofers who want to be the answer in Google and AI search

Searchmaxxed is an AI-native search team for roofers who want to be the name homeowners find in Google and hear from ChatGPT. Everyone here works with AI agents. You get the reach of a much larger team with the focus of a small one. No account manager sits in the middle.

- **What they sell:** SEO and AI SEO, with AI search first. We build and improve your website, pages and articles. We also fix your technical SEO and earn your place in Google, AI Overviews and ChatGPT. Our [roofing SEO page for US roofers](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/industries/roofing-seo-usa) covers job pages, city pages, storm-damage pages and your Google Business Profile.
- **Proof they publish:** Searchmaxxed's work has generated more than $15 million in revenue through search for its clients. We don't have a roofing client result we can publish yet, so we won't invent one.
- **Pricing:** Quoted after a free search analysis, once we've looked at your site, your cities and your jobs.
- **Terms and ownership:** Monthly, six-month or 12-month terms, agreed on the call. You own the site, the code, the content and the data from day one, and our reporting ties the work to calls and booked jobs.
- **AI search:** AEO and GEO come in every managed package. We track what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews say when a homeowner asks for a roofer near you. We also track which searches and answers turn into revenue.
- **Ask them:** Open my Search Console and show me the first three pages you'd build.

## 2\. Hook Agency: best for growth-stage roofers with a serious budget

[Hook Agency](https://hookagency.com/roofing-seo/) suits an established roofer that wants a contractor-only team and can afford one of the higher published prices on this list. Its founder says roofers make up "over a third" of its clients, and the page is plain that Hook usually suits "growth-mode contractors over 3M+".

- **What they sell:** Roofing SEO with monthly reporting, content, link building and monthly technical changes, plus websites, Google Ads, Local Services Ads and Meta ads.
- **Proof they publish:** It says it has helped "15+ roofing companies go from 50 to 1,500+ leads per year". It also says one client "landed 1,200 leads in just three weeks after a storm".
- **Pricing:** Local SEO + AEO at $3,750 monthly. Its pricing page says most clients invest $5,000 to $8,000 monthly across search, ads and their website.
- **Reviews:** Its site claims 175+ five-star reviews and nine case studies.
- **AI search:** The Local SEO + AEO plan tracks "25+ ChatGPT prompts" and reports on them monthly.
- **Ask them:** What did the storm client's site have in place before the storm hit?

## 3\. Roofing Webmasters: best for a low upfront cost and a roofing-only team

[Roofing Webmasters](https://www.roofingwebmasters.com/) suits a roofer that wants a new website and SEO from a roofing-only team, without a big setup bill. The Fort Worth company claims 16+ years and 1,000+ roofing clients across North America.

- **What they sell:** Roofing websites, SEO, AEO, Google Business Profile management, content and reputation management. Its own software, DataPins, posts geotagged job check-ins and reviews to your website.
- **Proof they publish:** Force Field Roofing in Jasper, Georgia, shows "3,450% traffic increase over a 12-month period, reaching 3,400 visits/month". Duluth Roofing Company went from 5 to 120 monthly visits in its first month, which the page reports as 2,300% growth.
- **Pricing:** "$99 to Start!" After that you move to a month-to-month fee it doesn't publish. If you aren't satisfied with the new website, it says it will refund the starting charge.
- **Reviews:** Google's map results showed 4.5 stars from 86 reviews on 3 November 2026.
- **AI search:** AEO for Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Its case studies page shows a commercial roofer cited in an AI Overview.
- **Ask them:** What's the monthly fee after the $99 start, and who owns the site if I leave?

## 4\. RoofingROI Labs: best for published price ranges and month-to-month terms

[RoofingROI Labs](https://roofingroi.net/) suits a roofer that wants to know the likely budget, and the terms, before the first sales call even starts. No company here publishes more on price.

- **What they sell:** SEO, AI SEO, local SEO, websites, PPC, reputation management and CRM setup, all for roofing companies.
- **Proof they publish:** Horch Roofing got "510 Qualified Leads in 12 Months", which it says were worth over $1.5M. A San Diego roofing company got "63% More Leads and $1.68M in New Roofing Jobs". Its homepage claims 200+ clients and a 40% average revenue increase.
- **Pricing:** Local Foundation runs $1,000 to $2,500 monthly. The Full SEO Campaign runs $2,000 to $5,000 monthly. Its Full-Stack Revenue System runs $4,000 to $8,000+ monthly, plus ad spend.
- **Terms and ownership:** "Month-to-month standard." Your website, content, ad accounts and CRM are "all in your name".
- **AI search:** The Full SEO Campaign includes "AI SEO for Google AI Overviews".
- **Ask them:** Which end of the range would my market sit at, and what does that buy each month?

## 5\. CinchLocal: best for roofers who want no rival on the same agency

[CinchLocal](https://cinchlocal.com/roofing-seo) suits an established roofer that wants the map pack in its own area, with no rival roofer on the same agency. Its "one-roofer-per-market policy" is the headline.

- **What they sell:** Google Business Profile work with posts "minimum 3x/week", GeoGrid rank scans across your service area, service and city pages, citations and links.
- **Proof they publish:** Thunder Bay Roofing Solutions in Wesley Chapel, Florida, went from 0% to 100% "Share of Local Voice" for its main keyword in 35 days. Safe Roof in Ardmore, Oklahoma, went from 9% to 58% for "TPO Roofing" in 28 days. It claims 350+ roofing SEO projects.
- **Pricing:** Not published. Its FAQ puts typical roofing SEO at $1,000 to $3,500+ monthly, and says its own price depends on your market.
- **Terms:** No hidden fees, and you can cancel anytime, its page says.
- **Reviews:** Google's map results showed 5.0 stars from 13 reviews on 3 November 2026.
- **AI search:** A separate AI SEO for roofers page.
- **Ask them:** How do you draw my protected area, and what happens to it if I cancel?

## 6\. Footbridge Media: best for small roofers on a tight budget

[Footbridge Media](https://www.footbridgemedia.com/roofer-marketing/) suits a small or newer roofer that needs a website and the SEO basics for one flat fee each month. It's the cheapest here by far. The Pensacola company says it has served 2,000+ contractors since 2004, with every member of its team based in the United States.

- **What they sell:** A custom roofing website with unlimited pages, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, AEO and GEO. The fee also covers content, citations, backlinks, review requests, a CRM, online booking and a dedicated consultant.
- **Proof they publish:** Testimonials rather than case studies. One from Paramount Roofing says it comes up first in Google for "Columbus Roofing Contractor".
- **Pricing:** $249 monthly, with no setup fees.
- **Terms and ownership:** No contracts, money back within 90 days, and you take your website with you if you leave.
- **AI search:** AEO and GEO sit inside the flat fee, "so AI tools like ChatGPT and Google AI recognize, understand, and recommend YOUR business".
- **Ask them:** How much new work does $249 buy each month in a metro as busy as mine?

## 7\. Thrive: best for roofers who want a large agency with many reviews

[Thrive Internet Marketing Agency](https://thriveagency.com/roofing-seo-company/) suits a roofer that wants a big agency that does everything, with a long review record. It's a generalist, with a roofing page.

- **What they sell:** Roofing SEO, local SEO, web design, review tools and paid ads. It says it has offered roofing SEO since 2005 and lists 25 cities on its site.
- **Proof they publish:** Its roofing page shows construction clients: Nationwide Construction, "+126.5%" search traffic, and Stovall Construction, "+281" top 5 keywords. It claims a "95% client retention rate".
- **Pricing:** Its SEO pricing page puts small-business SEO at $500 monthly and up, as an estimate.
- **Reviews:** Clutch showed 4.6 stars from 115 reviews on 3 November 2026.
- **AI search:** AI SEO is a separate service in its menu.
- **Ask them:** Which roofers can I call, and who on your team has worked on roofing accounts?

## 8\. Relentless Digital: best for SEO and Local Services Ads under one roof

[Relentless Digital](https://www.relentless-digital.com/roofing-seo) suits a roofer that wants SEO, Local Services Ads and paid search run by one team that serves home-service trades. On 3 November 2026 it held the top organic spot in Google's US results for "roofing seo company", and Google's AI Overview named it too.

- **What they sell:** SEO, web design, Business Profile management, Local Services Ads, paid ads, email and reputation management. It works with roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trades, led by founder and CEO Joshua Crouch.
- **Proof they publish:** Its results page shows six trade case studies, none of them roofing. One electrical company grew organic traffic 339% in 14 months. It says it brought in "4,259 leads last month across PPC and LSA" at an average $86 per lead.
- **Pricing:** Not published.
- **Ownership:** Its client asset retention policy says you keep your website and domain once paid off, plus all content and your Business Profile.
- **Reviews:** Google showed 5.0 stars from 18 reviews on 3 November 2026.
- **AI search:** None on the roofing page we read.
- **Ask them:** Which roofing clients have you grown, and over what period?

## How do roofers get recommended by ChatGPT and Google's AI answers?

Roofers get named in AI answers by being the clearest, best-backed answer about roofing in their area. That takes a page for each job and city, the same business facts everywhere, genuine reviews and mentions on the sites AI engines read.

This search shows it. On 3 November 2026, Google's AI Overview for "roofing seo company" named seven agencies, and only two made this list: Hook Agency and Relentless Digital. Its sources were agency pages and a YouTube video, and the map results beside it showed three more names, two of them on this list. AI answers and blue links disagree. You need both.

Our own testing across AI engines shows how much those outside sources matter, and which kinds of site the engines lean on. Perplexity cited a review directory (Semrush Agencies, Clutch, DesignRush and the like) in 36 of 44 agency answers. ChatGPT did it in 20 and Claude in 15. One agency's Clutch profile had six reviews and was cited 20 times. For a roofer, the same job falls to the review sites, directories and local lists your market's AI answers lean on.

So ask any agency here which sources the AI answers use for roofers in your city, then how it will get you onto them. Our guide on [how to rank in ChatGPT](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/research/how-to-rank-in-chatgpt) goes deeper.

## How should you choose a roofing SEO company?

Choose the company that shows results from a roofer like you, names its first pages for your market and proves its lead tracking. Ask each one these six questions.

1. **Ask for a roofer like you**. A Kentucky commercial roofer's result tells a residential roofer in Denver little, so ask for the job type, metro, starting point and timeframe.
2. **Ask which pages they'd build first**. Roof repair, roof replacement, storm damage, metal roofing and commercial work are different searches, so each one deserves its own page. So does each city you genuinely serve.
3. **Ask who else they work for nearby**. CinchLocal locks out rival roofers by policy, but elsewhere you should ask how many roofers in your area each agency already serves. Then ask how it keeps them apart.
4. **Ask what you keep**. Your domain, website, Business Profile and ad accounts should all stay in your name, whatever happens to the agency relationship later on. Google's own advice is to give an SEO read-only Search Console access at first, and to find someone else if they promise first place.
5. **Ask how they count leads**. Calls, form fills and booked inspections matter more than rankings, so ask to see the tracking working before the first monthly report lands.
6. **Ask about AI answers**. Ask how they'll check what ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews say about roofers in your city, and how often they'll report it.

Question five matters. A client's four enquiry types never counted as conversions. Their event names ran 41 to 50 characters; GA4 cuts at 40. The 40-character "career" event counted every time. Nobody had noticed, because the events still showed up. A roofer's "request an inspection" form can fail the same way, and every monthly report would still look healthy while the leads went uncounted.

Our [local SEO service](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/services/local-seo) shows how we run Business Profiles and city pages. Our guide on [how to choose an SEO agency](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/research/how-do-you-choose-an-seo-agency) covers contracts.

## What does roofing SEO cost in 2026?

Published roofing SEO prices run from $249 to about $5,000 monthly, and full programs that add ads and a website run higher. Most companies here quote after a call.

| Source | What it publishes | Read |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Footbridge Media | $249 monthly, website included, no setup fee | 3 Nov 2026 |
| Thrive | Small-business SEO from $500 monthly (estimate) | 3 Nov 2026 |
| RoofingROI Labs | $1,000 to $2,500 monthly local; $2,000 to $5,000 full SEO | 3 Nov 2026 |
| CinchLocal | Typical roofing SEO $1,000 to $3,500+ monthly (FAQ) | 3 Nov 2026 |
| Hook Agency | Local SEO + AEO $3,750 monthly; most clients $5,000 to $8,000 across channels | 3 Nov 2026 |
| Ahrefs pricing survey | Local SEO averages $1,557 monthly; agencies average $3,209 monthly | Updated Aug 2024 |

The work sets the price. One metro with a solid site sits near the bottom of that range, while several cities or a storm-heavy market push it up. A new website or link-building push adds more on top. Across every kind of business, Ahrefs found most spend somewhere between $500 and $5,000 monthly on their SEO.

Here's a quick sanity check. CinchLocal's page puts a roofing job at $8,000 to $15,000, and a year of SEO at Hook's $3,750 monthly comes to $45,000. That's about three to six jobs. So ask each agency how many extra jobs a year it expects, and how it will prove where each one came from.

## Is Searchmaxxed right for your roofing company?

Searchmaxxed fits an established roofer that wants more of the repair, replacement and storm searches across its cities. It also fits one that wants to be the name ChatGPT and Google's AI answers give. One replacement job is worth thousands to you, and you want one fast, deep team building the site and the search work together.

It's a good fit if:

- You serve several cities.
- You want your Business Profile, website and AI answers pulling in the same direction, so homeowners find you wherever they look.
- You want to own everything.
- You'd rather deal with the people doing the work than with an account manager.

Look elsewhere if:

- You need leads this month to stay afloat. Search takes months.
- You want the cheapest retainer going. Footbridge Media's $249 plan suits that budget.
- You want a published price before you'll pick up the phone, in which case RoofingROI Labs, Hook Agency and Footbridge Media publish theirs.

## Where should you start?

Pick two or three companies that suit your size and budget. Put the same six questions to each. Hire the one that names the first pages it would build from your own data and proves its lead tracking works. Want Searchmaxxed on that shortlist? We'll show you where rival roofers get named instead of you, in Google and in the AI answers your homeowners already trust..

## Frequently asked questions

### What does a roofing SEO company do?

A roofing SEO company gets your business found when homeowners nearby search for roof repair, replacement or storm damage. Then it turns those searches into calls. The work covers your Google Business Profile, job and city pages, technical SEO, reviews, links and AI search. Good agencies report it as booked jobs.

### How much does roofing SEO cost?

Published roofing SEO prices run from $249 monthly at Footbridge Media to $2,000 to $5,000 monthly for a full campaign at RoofingROI Labs. Hook Agency's Local SEO + AEO plan is $3,750 monthly, and Ahrefs puts the average local SEO retainer at $1,557 monthly.

### How long does roofing SEO take to work?

It depends on your market and starting point, so nobody can honestly promise a date. Map pack gains usually show first. Hook Agency's page says it aims for significant changes within six months of starting and a clear return within nine.

### Should I hire a roofing-only SEO agency?

Not necessarily, but ask for roofing results either way. Specialists like Roofing Webmasters, RoofingROI Labs and CinchLocal know storm work, insurance claims and the exact jobs homeowners search for in their area. A broader agency can still win.

### What's the difference between SEO and Local Services Ads for roofers?

Local Services Ads put you at the top of Google for as long as you pay for each lead, and stop the day you stop. SEO earns rankings that keep bringing calls. Many roofers run both, and Relentless Digital, Hook Agency and RoofingROI Labs sell both.

### Can a roofing SEO company stop working for my competitors?

Some can. CinchLocal has a one-roofer-per-market policy that locks out other roofing companies in your service area, so ask for the same in writing elsewhere. Ask how each agency defines your area.

### Do roofers need SEO for ChatGPT and AI Overviews?

Yes. Homeowners now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI answers who to call, and those answers lean on review sites, directories and pages they can quote. Seven of the eight companies here publish some AI search offer, so ask each how it measures whether you're named, and how often.
