An enterprise SEO platform is software that tracks rankings, crawls large sites, researches keywords and reports search performance across many domains, markets and teams. In 2026 the leading suites also track how often ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews name your brand. Pick one by your bottleneck. A site with millions of URLs needs crawl and log-file depth, while a content team spread across five markets needs workflow and reporting. Only one of the five I compare publishes an enterprise price, with tiers running from US$2,000 to US$4,500 a month on its own pricing pages. None of them ships your pages.

I'm Brenden House, and I run Searchmaxxed, an SEO and AI SEO agency for enterprise, B2B SaaS, venture-backed, manufacturing and public-sector companies. We don't sell a platform. None of these five is ours, so Searchmaxxed stays off the list. This is my own selection, read from each vendor's website on 27 October 2026 (AEST). It's a buyer's map. Not an award, not a survey.

## In summary

Shortlist by the problem you have today, because each platform is strongest at a different job.

| Your bottleneck | Shortlist first |
| --- | --- |
| Millions of URLs, crawl and indexation trouble | Botify |
| Many teams writing content across markets | Conductor or BrightEdge |
| One data source with a published price | seoClarity |
| SEO, ads and AI visibility in one suite | Semrush Enterprise |
| Pages that never get built | A team that ships, beside any platform |

- Four of the five quote only after a demo, while seoClarity publishes tiers from US$2,500 to US$4,500 a month and AI tracking from US$2,000.
- All five now track AI answers. The engine lists differ, so get each list in writing, along with how often every prompt runs and how many runs sit behind a score.
- They bill in different units. Usage credits, keywords and domains, prompts and seats all appear, so turn each quote into one annual figure before you compare any two.
- A platform finds the work. Your team, or a partner, still has to write, build and release it, and that's where I see enterprise SEO stall.

## Which enterprise SEO platforms are worth shortlisting?

The five I'd shortlist are Conductor, BrightEdge, Botify, seoClarity and Semrush Enterprise. Each audits sites, reports rankings and now tracks AI answers, but they differ on data depth, AI engines covered and how they charge.

| Platform | Best for | Starting price (as published) | AI engines tracked (vendor-stated) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Conductor](https://www.conductor.com/pricing/) | Content-led teams across many markets | Not published; usage-based plans | ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude |
| [BrightEdge](https://www.brightedge.com/products/product-pricing) | Global brands needing executive reporting | Not published; quote by phone or form | ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini |
| [Botify](https://www.botify.com/pricing) | Huge sites with crawl problems | Not published; demo form | ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini |
| [seoClarity](https://www.seoclarity.net/pricing/) | One data source at a known price | US$2,500 a month; Enterprise US$4,500 | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews |
| [Semrush Enterprise](https://www.semrush.com/pricing/enterprise/) | Teams running SEO, ads and content together | Custom; AI toolkit US$99 per domain monthly | Nine, including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek |

Each vendor's own page is the source. None of the five publishes an Australian-dollar price, so if you buy from Australia, ask for the AUD quote and the exchange rate it uses.

Which ones do teams use most? Gartner's Peer Insights page for enterprise SEO platforms lists 27 products, and its review counts give a rough signal of how many teams run each. Semrush carries 116 ratings at 4.3. BrightEdge has 14 ratings at 4.4, Conductor 8 at 4.8 and seoClarity 7 at 4.6, while Botify isn't in the first 20 by rating count. Volume shows how common a tool is. It says nothing about fit.

## What is an enterprise SEO platform?

An enterprise SEO platform is a subscription suite covering on-site, off-site and technical SEO for large organisations, with permissions built for many users. Gartner's definition includes traffic analysis, competitor insight, link building and content evaluation.

[Gartner lists eight mandatory features](https://www.gartner.com/reviews/market/enterprise-seo-platforms): site audits, keyword ranking, reporting and analytics, competitive analysis, keyword research, martech integrations, website monitoring and content optimisation. Scale and control make the difference. Think millions of pages crawled, thousands of keywords tracked daily across markets, single sign-on, role-based permissions and an API your data team can pull from.

You'll meet these terms in every demo:

- **Log file analysis** reads your server logs to show which pages Googlebot and AI crawlers visit, how often, and which they skip.
- **JavaScript rendering** means the crawler runs your page's scripts, so it sees what Google sees on a modern web app built in React or similar.
- **Crawl budget** is how many URLs a search engine will fetch.
- **Share of voice** is your slice of the visibility for a set of keywords, measured against named competitors.
- **Prompt tracking** means running the same buyer questions through AI engines on a schedule and recording who gets named.
- **A citation** is a link an AI answer shows as its source, while a mention is your name in the answer, linked or not.

## 1. Conductor: best for content-led teams across many markets

Conductor suits enterprise marketing teams where many writers, editors and regional leads work on search together. Its suite covers keyword and AI visibility reporting, a writing assistant, 24/7 site monitoring and an agent toolkit with an API and MCP server.

- **What it does:** Tracks keywords, competitors and AI visibility, scores content, recommends internal links and monitors site health around the clock.
- **Engines tracked:** ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude.
- **Starting price:** Not published. Its pricing page describes a usage-based model, "built around the value you get, not the seats you buy". The Growth plan lists 5,000 tracked keywords, 25 competitors, 2,500 AI search credits a year, 500,000 monitored pages and five websites.
- **Free trial:** Yes, on the Essentials plan.
- **What it cannot do:** Log file analysis and role-based permissions come standard only on Enterprise, and JavaScript rendering is an add-on that Essentials doesn't offer.
- **Best for:** B2B SaaS and multi-brand teams that run search through content and want GA4, Search Console and Adobe Analytics in one view.
- **Ask them:** How many credits one prompt burns.

## 2. BrightEdge: best for global brands that report to executives

BrightEdge suits large organisations that need one view of search demand, site health and competitors across many countries, packaged for leadership. Its AI layer is AI Catalyst.

- **What it does:** Data Cube for keyword research, ContentIQ for site audits, Share of Voice for competitors and StoryBuilder for custom reports. A Site Agents Suite automates technical SEO.
- **Engines tracked:** AI Catalyst tracks mentions and citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini, "and other AI platforms". It also rates each answer as positive, neutral or negative for your brand and every tracked competitor, with the reasoning behind each rating.
- **Starting price:** Not published; you call or fill in a form.
- **Free trial:** None published.
- **What it cannot do:** There's no public price or trial, so you can't test it, or cost it, until a sales process starts.
- **Best for:** Global manufacturers and enterprise brands with many country sites and a board that wants one search number.
- **Ask them:** Which modules, AI Catalyst included, the base contract covers, and which are separate line items.

## 3. Botify: best for huge sites with crawl and indexation problems

Botify suits sites with millions of URLs, where the first question is whether search engines and AI crawlers reach the right pages at all. Crawl and log data are its core.

- **What it does:** Crawls the site, reads server logs and ties both to Search Console rankings, then sends product feeds to ChatGPT and Google.
- **Engines tracked:** ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini, at aggregate and prompt level, grounded in your Search Console, site structure and logs.
- **Starting price:** Not published, and its pricing page is a demo form.
- **Free trial:** None published.
- **What it cannot do:** Its showcased customers lean retail. I'd expect a B2B site of a few thousand pages to use a small slice of what it does, and pay for the rest.
- **Best for:** Marketplaces, large catalogues, publishers and manufacturers with deep product ranges.
- **Ask them:** Which AI crawlers its log analysis separates out, and how often the crawl runs at your size.

## 4. seoClarity: best for one data source at a published price

seoClarity suits teams who are tired of four dashboards disagreeing and want rankings, research, crawl data and AI visibility in one place. It also prints its prices.

- **What it does:** Rank tracking, keyword and content research, site audits with unlimited crawl pages, log file analysis, and AI search tracking through Clarity ArcAI.
- **Engines tracked:** ArcAI covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. It also tracks AI Mode, AI Overviews and AI crawler activity.
- **Starting price:** Research & Content from US$2,500 (£1,800) a month, Technical SEO from US$3,200 (£2,400) and Enterprise from US$4,500 (£3,600). Its FAQ puts ArcAI from US$2,000 a month, and every tier prices on the number of domains and keywords you track.
- **Free trial:** None published; each tier says "Get a Custom Quote".
- **What it cannot do:** ArcAI has its own price and automation is an optional add-on, so the full stack costs more than one tier's headline.
- **Best for:** Technical in-house teams who want deep data and an API, and finance teams who want a number before the first call.
- **Ask them:** The all-in annual price.

## 5. Semrush Enterprise: best for teams running SEO, ads and content together

Semrush Enterprise suits marketing teams that already use Semrush and want one vendor for SEO, paid search, content and AI visibility. Adobe [completed its acquisition of Semrush](https://news.adobe.com/news/2026/04/adobe-completes-semrush-acquisition) on 28 April 2026.

- **What it does:** Semrush data at enterprise limits, plus multi-million-page crawling, forecasting, ROI attribution, SSO, audit logs, a custom API and an account manager.
- **Engines tracked:** Its AI Optimization plan tracks unlimited prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek. Semrush says it monitors "289M+ relevant LLM prompts globally".
- **Starting price:** Custom for Enterprise. The smaller AI Visibility Toolkit is US$99 a month per domain, billed annually, for 25 tracked prompts.
- **Free trial:** Not published for Enterprise.
- **What it cannot do:** Breadth is the trade, and a suite this wide needs clear owners or whole modules sit unused.
- **Best for:** Teams that run paid and organic search side by side, and companies already on Adobe's marketing software.
- **Ask them:** What Adobe changes at renewal.

## How do the platforms compare on data, AI search tracking and cost model?

They differ on data and on billing. Botify and seoClarity centre on crawls and logs, Conductor and BrightEdge on keyword and content data, and Semrush on a full marketing data set.

| Platform | Where its data comes from | How AI tracking works | How it bills |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Conductor | Own keyword data, 24/7 monitoring, GA4, Search Console, Adobe Analytics | AI search credits per plan | Usage-based tiers |
| BrightEdge | Data Cube, ContentIQ crawls, Search Console reporting | AI Catalyst: mentions, citations, sentiment | Contract by quote |
| Botify | Own crawler, server logs, Search Console | Prompts drawn from your own search data | Contract by quote |
| seoClarity | Rankings, research data, crawls, logs | ArcAI, priced on its own | Published tiers by domains and keywords |
| Semrush Enterprise | Semrush's keyword, backlink and traffic data | Unlimited prompts on the AI plan | Custom; toolkit per domain |

The unit decides what grows your bill. On usage credits, adding engines or running prompts daily burns credits faster. If a contract prices on keywords and domains, a new market or a new brand is the expensive move. Per-domain plans get dear across many country sites.

So turn every quote into one annual figure, then line up these costs:

1. The licence for year one, plus any renewal increase the contract allows.
2. AI search tracking, if sold separately.
3. Seats.
4. Onboarding and training.
5. API access, data exports and any connector to your data warehouse.
6. The people who act on what it finds, which is the line most budgets leave out.

## Can you trust the AI search numbers a platform shows you?

Treat them as a sample. AI answers change from one run to the next, so judge a full quarter of tracking rather than a single week of it. And check the traffic numbers underneath before anyone reports a win.

Every platform here connects to GA4. A dashboard only knows what GA4 tells it. Here's what we found on an enterprise B2B client's account:

A client's GA4 showed AI-assistant visits jump from 354 to 6,050 in a month. Almost none of it was real. About 5,700 came in three one-hour bursts: same 1920x1080 desktop Chrome, all new users, no referrer, about 20 seconds each, landing on two pages. Real AI traffic was 385 sessions against 354 the month before, roughly flat.

Any platform pulling that GA4 data would have charted a seventeenfold jump in AI traffic, and someone could have put it in a board report. Revenue tracking breaks quietly too:

A client's four enquiry types never counted as conversions. Their event names ran 41 to 50 characters; GA4 cuts at 40. The 40-character "career" event counted every time. Nobody had noticed, because the events still showed up.

If your platform's "SEO revenue" report reads conversions from that property, it misses four enquiry types, so fix the tracking before you judge the platform.

Mentions also differ from being chosen. Our own panel shows how wide the gap runs:

We put 300 Australian agency-buyer questions to ChatGPT three times each, with search on. It pulled 17,870 search results into those 900 answers and kept 4,389 as sources. Being found is the easy part. About three in four results it reads never make the answer.

So ask each vendor three things. How many runs sit behind each score, and how often do they repeat? Does it separate a mention from a citation? Can it show which outside pages the engines cite for your category? If you only need AI visibility tracking without a full suite, our comparison of [AI visibility tools](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/research/ai-visibility-tools) covers the cheaper options.

## Which enterprise SEO platform should your team choose?

Choose by your binding constraint and your team's size, not by feature count, because the best platform is the one your people open every week.

| Your company | What usually holds search back | Platform that fits |
| --- | --- | --- |
| B2B SaaS, one product, several markets | Comparison, integration and use-case pages missing | Conductor or seoClarity |
| Manufacturer with a deep product catalogue | Product and spec pages not crawled or indexed | Botify, or seoClarity's Technical tier |
| Global brand with many country sites | Fragmented reporting across regions | BrightEdge or Conductor |
| Venture-backed company with a lean team | Too few people to act on findings | Semrush Enterprise, or a lighter tool and a delivery partner |
| Public-sector agency | Large legacy site, strict governance | A platform with SSO, permissions and audit logs |

Before you sign, run every finalist through the same test:

1. Give each vendor 20 of your real keywords and 10 real buyer prompts, and ask to see the results live in the demo.
2. Ask for the AI engine list, the run frequency and the number of runs behind each score, in writing.
3. Ask what the platform can change on your site itself, and what still needs your developers.
4. Ask for SSO, permissions, data residency and security documents early.
5. Ask for the year-two price.
6. Ask who in your team will own it day to day. If nobody, budget for that first.

For a site where crawling and indexation are the real problem, a [technical SEO audit](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/services/technical-seo) will tell you what's broken before you choose the crawler.

## What does an enterprise SEO platform not do for you?

A platform measures, alerts and recommends. It doesn't write your comparison pages, fix your templates, get your fixes through the release queue or earn mentions on the sites AI answers trust. That work needs people.

Picture a B2B SaaS company selling into Australia and the US, with about 6,000 URLs across product, docs and integration pages. Its growth team is three people, engineering releases every two weeks, and in the first month a platform tells them three things:

- About 400 docs pages aren't indexed.
- ChatGPT names a competitor for the category's "best software" prompts, and not them.
- Twelve integrations have no page at all.

All three findings are right. Fixing the docs needs a template change and an engineering ticket. The integration pages need research, writing, design and a release. Getting named in ChatGPT needs pages that answer the buyer's question, plus mentions on the review sites and lists it reads. Three people can't do that on top of their jobs, so the findings sit in the dashboard.

Our [enterprise SEO service](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/services/enterprise-seo) exists for this gap. Here's who does what when a platform and a delivery team work together:

| Job | Platform | Your team | Searchmaxxed |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Track rankings, crawls and AI answers | Yes | Reads it | Reads Search Console, GA4 and AI answers |
| Decide what to fix first | Suggests | Approves | Ranks by what brings pipeline |
| Write and build pages | Drafts, at most | Reviews | Builds them |
| Fix templates, schema and internal links | Flags | Merges | Ships merge-ready changes |
| Earn links, digital PR and mentions | Reports gaps | Signs off | Part of our plans |
| Check tracking before reporting | Shows the data | Owns GA4 | Audits it |

## Where does Searchmaxxed fit?

Searchmaxxed is an SEO and AI SEO agency doing technical SEO, content, link building, digital PR, GEO, AEO and LLM SEO. The aim is simple: enterprise and B2B companies rank in Google and get named in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers. We don't sell a platform. If you already pay for one, your team keeps it. If you don't, you may not need one yet.

Here's how we do it. We build on a website you own, our Agentic Website. AI agents pull your Search Console and GA4 data, read the live Google results and check what AI answers say about you and your competitors. That data feeds the Managed Search Loop, which shows which page, fix or link should bring in the most pipeline next. If your web stack needs internal deployment, we deliver merge-ready changes sized for your release process. Off your site, the Off-Page Source Layer builds the links, digital PR and mentions AI answers draw on.

| Package | Who it suits | What it includes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Growth System | A company growing in one or two markets | 30 page releases a month, work on up to 4 existing pages, one qualified link action, AI visibility tracking |
| Agentic Search Engineering | A competitive or national category | 50 page releases a month, comparison, industry and integration pages, digital PR and link campaigns, AI answer tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews |
| Custom & Enterprise | Several markets, several brands or a large site | Dedicated engineering, custom reporting and original first-party research |

A page release is an approved new page or a substantial rebuild of one. Every managed package includes ongoing audits, a 90-day plan in weekly releases, the build work and a monthly decision memo. You own the site, repository, content and data from day one. For AI answers specifically, our [AI search optimisation service](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/services/ai-search-optimization) sets out the work.

Searchmaxxed's work has generated more than A$10 million in revenue through search for its clients.

## Is Searchmaxxed right for you?

We fit marketing and growth teams at enterprise, B2B SaaS, venture-backed, manufacturing and public-sector companies that have more search work than people to ship it. If you want software and have the team to run it, buy a platform and skip us.

| Searchmaxxed is a good fit if | Look elsewhere if |
| --- | --- |
| Your platform's findings sit unbuilt for months | You have an in-house team that already ships weekly |
| You want pages, fixes and links shipped, counted as page releases | You only want a dashboard and alerts |
| You want Google and AI answers handled by one team | You need a crawler for millions of URLs and nothing else |
| You want to own your site, repository, content and data | You want a tool licence, not a team |
| You want direct access to the people doing the work | You're shopping for the cheapest retainer |

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best enterprise SEO platform?

There isn't one best platform for every team. Botify suits crawl and log work on the largest sites, while Conductor and BrightEdge suit content and reporting across markets. seoClarity publishes its prices, and Semrush Enterprise covers SEO, ads and AI visibility together.

### How much does an enterprise SEO platform cost?

Only seoClarity publishes enterprise prices: US$2,500 to US$4,500 a month by tier, with AI tracking from US$2,000. The other four quote after a demo. Add AI modules, onboarding and API access before you compare.

### What's the difference between an SEO tool and an enterprise SEO platform?

An SEO tool does one job, such as rank tracking or backlink research, for a few users. An enterprise platform combines audits, rankings, research, reporting and AI tracking for many users, with SSO, permissions, an API and support built for large organisations.

### Do enterprise SEO platforms track ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews?

Yes. All five now track AI answers, and the engine lists differ by vendor. Semrush's AI Optimization plan names nine engines, while Conductor names ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. Ask how often each prompt runs.

### Is Semrush an enterprise SEO platform?

Yes. Semrush sells Semrush for Enterprise with custom pricing, SSO, audit logs and multi-million-page crawling, plus an enterprise AI Optimization plan. Adobe completed its acquisition of Semrush on 28 April 2026.

### Do you still need an agency if you have an enterprise SEO platform?

You need people who ship the work, either in-house or a partner. A platform finds problems and opportunities, but someone still writes pages, fixes templates, gets releases out and earns outside mentions. Without them, findings sit in the dashboard.

### Do Google's AI Overviews need special optimisation?

No, by Google's own guidance. [Google says](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/ai-features) there are "no additional technical requirements" for AI Overviews and AI Mode, and that "all existing SEO fundamentals continue to be worthwhile". A page must be indexed and eligible for a snippet.

## What should you do next?

Write down the one thing holding your search back today: crawling, content, reporting or shipping. Shortlist the two platforms that fit it and run both through the same 20 keywords and 10 prompts. If shipping is the problem, a platform won't fix it, and shipping is the work we do every week for teams like yours. [Let's talk pricing](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/contact).
