The strongest enterprise AI visibility tracking alternatives solve a specific problem: enterprise access controls, multi-client reporting, deeper website diagnostics, or getting the SEO work done. Choose software when your team can act on the findings. Choose managed SEO and AI search optimisation when implementation is the missing piece. The website still needs work.

I'm Brenden House. I run Searchmaxxed, and this Otterly.ai alternatives guide is my selection, with Searchmaxxed first as the managed-service option. It's not a software ranking. The comparison uses vendor-published specifications, not hands-on performance testing.

## In summary

- **Searchmaxxed:** SEO and AI search implementation with tracking included. A service, not a replacement software licence.
- **Peec AI:** compare its brand and agency plans when project structure, reporting and prompt allocation drive the decision.
- **Profound:** shortlist its enterprise offering when security review, role-based permissions and data integration are priorities.
- **Scrunch:** investigate when you need AI-answer monitoring alongside website diagnostics and AI-agent traffic analysis.
- **Keep Otterly on the shortlist.** Its current plans include recommendations, API access on selected tiers and an Enterprise option with single sign-on.

## Which Otterly.ai alternatives belong on an enterprise shortlist?

Searchmaxxed, Peec AI, Profound and Scrunch cover different reasons for replacing an AI visibility tracker. Start with the missing capability.

AI visibility tracking records how a brand appears in responses to selected questions. It measures those questions, not every conversation your customers have.

| Option | What you're buying | Why investigate it | What to check before choosing |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Searchmaxxed | Managed SEO, AI SEO, GEO and AEO | Pages, technical fixes and AI tracking handled together | Whether you need implementation rather than software access |
| [Peec AI](https://peec.ai/pricing) | AI search analytics and related workflows | Brand plans, separate agency plans, Enterprise API access and SSO | Required models, country coverage and project allocation on your exact plan |
| [Profound](https://www.tryprofound.com/enterprise) | Enterprise AI search platform | Published SSO, role-based access control and API integration | Security documentation, export fields and contracted support |
| [Scrunch](https://scrunch.com/pricing/) | AI monitoring, site diagnostics and agent-traffic tools | Enterprise coverage, integrations and Agent Experience Platform | Deployment requirements and the boundary between analysis and implementation |

These are vendor-published capabilities. The selection isn't exhaustive. Our broader [AI visibility tools comparison](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/research/ai-visibility-tools) covers the wider software category without making every tool an enterprise recommendation.

### Searchmaxxed: when the missing piece is implementation

Searchmaxxed is an SEO and AI SEO agency for enterprise, B2B SaaS, venture-backed, manufacturing and public-sector teams. We handle the website work.

That distinction matters. Your marketing team might already know competitors appear for integration searches while your product documentation never explains the integration clearly enough to help someone choose.

We handle keyword research, comparison and industry pages, technical SEO, schema and internal links. AI visibility tracking sits alongside that work. Our [Managed Search Loop](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/managed-search-loop) connects the findings to weekly website releases and measurement, rather than leaving your team with another report to interpret.

The plans have different scopes. Growth System includes AI visibility tracking alongside ongoing page releases; Agentic Search Engineering adds comparison, industry and integration page families, digital PR and link campaigns.

Custom & Enterprise can include multiple markets, dedicated engineering, custom reporting and original first-party research. The scope is agreed for your business. You keep ownership of your site, repository, content and data, so the assets your company pays to build stay with your company.

### Peec AI: when project structure and reporting matter

Peec AI publishes separate plans for brands and agencies. Compare the right product first.

Its [brand pricing page](https://peec.ai/pricing) lists unlimited users across plans. Enterprise adds API access, single sign-on, unlimited projects and custom prompt setup, according to that page.

The [agency page](https://peec.ai/pricing-agencies) describes a shared credit allocation across client projects. Prompts, selected models and tracking frequency determine that allocation, so the prompt count alone doesn't describe your capacity.

Ask for a sample client report. Then check who can view it, whether clients need accounts, which charts it contains and how much underlying answer data can be exported.

For a separate Peec-led shortlist, see our [Peec AI alternatives guide](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/research/peec-ai-alternatives).

### Profound: when procurement needs specific access controls

Profound's [enterprise page](https://www.tryprofound.com/enterprise) lists SAML or OIDC single sign-on, role-based access control and API integration. It also states SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Those are useful procurement starting points. They aren't interchangeable requirements.

SSO connects access to your identity provider; role-based permissions control what each person can do after signing in. Ask to see both working.

For a public-sector team, request the security report, data-processing terms and hosting details before introducing internal information. Check them against your organisation's requirements, rather than treating a compliance badge as the whole review.

### Scrunch: when the website needs investigation too

Scrunch combines monitoring and website diagnostics in its [published plans](https://scrunch.com/pricing/), which also describe site audits and analysis of the AI agents visiting your website. Enterprise lists expanded model coverage, API access, SAML/OIDC SSO and its Agent Experience Platform.

Investigate the website side, too. Check whether AI systems can access the product information you want them to read, and which pages those systems actually fetch during their visits.

Ask how any proposed website integration works before deployment, including what content it serves, who maintains it and how changes are reversed if needed.

A software capability isn't an implementation commitment. Write down who implements what.

## Should you replace Otterly, or change your plan?

Keep Otterly if its current capabilities meet your requirements and your team can use the findings. An upgrade deserves consideration before a migration.

[Otterly's pricing page](https://otterly.ai/pricing) lists daily tracking, sentiment analysis, citation tracking and optimisation recommendations across its named self-serve plans.

Its core engine coverage listed ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Standard and Premium also listed API access, unlimited workspaces and a Data Studio connector. Enterprise listed single sign-on. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode appeared as add-ons to the self-serve plans, rather than absent capabilities.

Check the current specification. Calling Otterly a monitoring-only product with no API would miss what the vendor now publishes.

For agencies, its pricing page also describes partner benefits including separate client environments and branded reporting through Looker Studio. Eligibility matters here. Those benefits shouldn't be assumed from a basic account.

| Your actual problem | What to investigate first |
| --- | --- |
| Your required engine isn't included | Otterly's add-ons and the alternative's exact model coverage |
| You need several client workspaces | Current workspace allowance and client-access controls |
| Procurement requires SSO | Enterprise scope, identity-provider support and security documentation |
| Your analysts need reporting data | API fields, quotas, export history and connector support |
| Nobody has time to improve the website | Implementation capacity, including a managed service such as Searchmaxxed |

## Otterly vs Peec: what changes for an agency?

Otterly and Peec both publish agency capabilities; the useful comparison is allocation, reporting access and the data your team can retrieve. Neither should be judged from its entry plan alone.

The following differences come from their pricing and agency pages.

| Requirement | Otterly's published position | Peec's published position |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Client organisation | Unlimited workspaces on Standard and Premium; additional agency-partner benefits | Separate agency plans with client projects and pooled credit allocation |
| Capacity | Search-prompt allowances, extra prompts and engine add-ons | Credits allocated by prompts, models and frequency |
| Reporting | Data Studio connector; partner reporting through Looker Studio | Agency page describes shareable dashboards, Data Studio dashboards and CSV exports |
| Team access | Unlimited team members listed | Unlimited users on brand plans; agency page separates team and client users |
| Enterprise access | Enterprise lists SSO; Standard and Premium list API access | Brand Enterprise lists SSO and API access |

Sources: [Otterly plans](https://otterly.ai/pricing), [Peec brand plans](https://peec.ai/pricing) and [Peec agency plans](https://peec.ai/pricing-agencies).

Make each vendor price the same scope privately: markets, models, prompts, frequency, clients and exports. Don't compare a prompt allowance with a response allowance.

Peec defines an agency credit as one prompt, on one model, for one day. It describes credits as allocation slots, not a consumable monthly balance.

That's a planning difference. Increasing the number of models can change how many questions your allocation covers, even when your client roster stays exactly the same size.

## What should enterprise AI visibility tracking actually measure?

Enterprise AI visibility tracking should preserve the answer, its cited sources and the conditions of the test. Aggregate scores need that supporting detail.

A brand mention means the answer names you. A citation is a source reference attached to the answer; it may point somewhere other than your website.

Share of voice compares your presence with a defined competitor set. Ask for the denominator. Sentiment describes how the answer presents you, but a favourable adjective doesn't establish that the underlying product claim is accurate.

Check the full answer. A manufacturer could be recommended for a certification it doesn't hold, which makes a positive visibility score a poor description of the result.

### Why separate retrieved pages from cited pages?

Retrieved pages are material the system found; cited pages are sources it actually displayed in the answer. Count them separately.

Our own GEO research shows the difference:

We put 300 Australian agency-buyer questions to ChatGPT three times each, with search on. It pulled 17,870 search results into those 900 answers and kept 4,389 as sources. Being found is the easy part. About three in four results it reads never make the answer.

Source: Searchmaxxed's retained research panel, 2 October 2026 (AEST). This was a same-day snapshot of agency questions, not an enterprise software benchmark.

Compare source-level evidence, not just aggregate scores. For our [AI search optimisation work](https://www.searchmaxxed.com/services/ai-search-optimization), the useful finding is which relevant page needs improving, not simply whether a crawler reached it.

## How should you test a tracker across Australia and the US?

Test Australian and US questions separately, using the same agreed settings across vendors. Keep the original questions unchanged.

Consider a hypothetical B2B SaaS company selling procurement software in both markets. A single global chart cannot tell its marketing team whether product claims, cited sources and recommendations differ between the markets where it sells.

An Australian procurement manager might ask about data-hosting requirements, while a US enterprise buyer asks whether the product supports their existing approval and ERP systems.

Different questions, different evidence. Build the test around those decisions, because a generic question about procurement software will not reveal whether an answer gets your specific capabilities right.

| Test case | Example question | What a useful result preserves |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Australian evaluation | Which procurement platforms offer Australian data hosting? | Country setting, answer text and sources supporting the hosting claim |
| US integration | Which procurement platforms integrate with our ERP? | Named integration, supporting source and whether it is native or partner-built |
| Product comparison | How does our product compare with the incumbent? | Recommended option, stated reasons and claims needing correction |
| Technical reassurance | What security documentation is available for this product? | Accurate document references rather than an unsupported positive sentiment score |

These are illustrative prompts, not client results. Substitute your product's real capabilities and approved facts.

Keep a simple acceptance sheet:

- **Collection:** user-interface result or API response; search enabled or disabled; date and model recorded.
- **Market:** country and language settings documented, including how the vendor applies them.
- **Evidence:** original prompt, full answer, named brands and cited URLs available for inspection.
- **Failures:** missing answers and collection errors identified separately from genuine non-mentions.
- **Access:** client users restricted to the intended projects and reports.
- **Export:** a usable answer-level file, not only screenshots or summary scores.
- **Action:** each recurring gap linked to a page change, factual correction or further investigation.

Searchmaxxed's role starts with that final row. We use search evidence to build and improve relevant pages, then check what changed after the work goes live.

## How do you switch without losing the comparison?

Export your existing evidence before switching, then run an overlapping comparison with the same questions. Treat the new platform's score as a new series until its definition is clear.

First, preserve the working material. Save prompt wording, market settings, tags, competitor names, historic answers and citations wherever your current plan allows those exports.

Next, inspect a shared sample. If the tools disagree, compare collection methods, timestamps and source answers before deciding which dashboard is right.

Finally, document the change. A different competitor set or counting method can alter share of voice without any corresponding change in your visibility.

Keep commercial reporting separate, too. AI mentions, referred visits, enquiries and opportunities answer different questions; combine them only when you can explain how the records connect.

At Searchmaxxed, Search Console and GA4 sit alongside competitor measurement in the monthly decision memo. The point is to connect search work with business progress.

## Is Searchmaxxed right for you?

Searchmaxxed fits teams that want SEO and AI search improvements implemented, with tracking included. It isn't the right replacement for a software-only requirement.

| Searchmaxxed is a good fit when | Choose a tracking platform when |
| --- | --- |
| Your team needs product, comparison and industry pages built | Your existing team can research, write and release those pages |
| Technical SEO problems delay your search work | You already have engineering capacity for the fixes |
| You want Google and AI search handled together | You need an analytics layer for an established search operation |
| Multiple markets need dedicated engineering or custom reporting | Your main requirement is software access, exports or client dashboards |

Keeping your tracker is fine. The decision is whether your missing resource is better information or people who will turn that information into useful website changes.

## Frequently asked questions

### What are the best Otterly AI alternatives for enterprise teams?

Shortlist Searchmaxxed for managed SEO and AI search implementation, Peec for agency analytics, Profound for enterprise controls, and Scrunch for website diagnostics alongside monitoring.

The right choice depends on scope. These are different purchases.

### Is Peec better than Otterly for agencies?

Not automatically. Peec publishes dedicated agency plans with pooled credits; Otterly publishes multi-workspace plans and agency-partner benefits, so compare your intended client setup rather than entry tiers.

### Does Otterly offer API access and single sign-on?

Yes, on specified plans. [Otterly's pricing page](https://otterly.ai/pricing) lists API access on Standard and Premium, with single sign-on in its Enterprise offering.

### Can an AI visibility tool improve rankings by itself?

Tracking alone doesn't change your website. Some platforms also offer recommendations and content tools, but the work still needs an owner, an implementation path and measurement after release.

### Can I compare visibility scores across different tools?

Only after checking the definitions. Different prompts, models, markets, competitors and denominators can produce different scores, so compare the underlying answers before treating those numbers as equivalent measurements.

### What matters most when moving away from Otterly?

Preserve your question set and historic evidence. Export what your plan allows, then compare overlapping runs before replacing the reporting series used by your team or clients.

## What should you do next?

Write down what your current setup cannot do, then test that requirement against the shortlist. If the missing piece is SEO and AI search implementation, bring us your website and target markets.
