How much does AI SEO cost?
+−
It should not be a separate line item. AI answer systems read the same pages, schema and third-party sources that Google reads, so the work overlaps almost entirely with good SEO. Any agency billing AEO or GEO as a premium add-on is charging you twice for one foundation. Ours runs inside the same retainer.
What does an AI SEO retainer include?
+−
An AI SEO retainer includes the ranked-search foundation and the work needed for AI answers. Searchmaxxed covers technical fixes, commercial pages, content, entity work, links, digital PR, third-party mentions, AI visibility tracking and commercial measurement inside one program.
Is AEO or GEO a separate charge?
+−
No. AEO and GEO run inside the same AI SEO program because they use the same website, facts, content, authority and external sources. The package price follows production capacity and authority depth.
How much does SEO cost in Australia?
+−
Most Australian agencies charge between $1,500 and $10,000 a month, and that range says more about scope than quality. The Growth System runs at $6,500 a month and Agentic Search Engineering at $11,000 a month, on a monthly, 6-month or 12-month term. Local businesses run Local Search at $3,500 a month. You enter through the Agentic Website Full Build at $12,000, or the Agentic Migration at $3,000 if your current design is worth keeping. A cheap retainer usually buys a report and a blog post. Ours includes 30 to 50 page releases a month, which is the number actually worth comparing.
How much does SEO cost for a small business?
+−
Between about $1,000 and $3,500 a month covers most local businesses, and the price tracks what ships each month. Our Local Search program runs at $3,500 a month for one market and one business per area, entered through the Agentic Migration at $3,000 or the full build at $12,000. The Growth System at $6,500 and Agentic Search Engineering at $11,000 are for companies fighting for a whole market.
Is SEO a good investment?
+−
It compounds where ads do not, which is the whole case. A ranking you earn keeps returning traffic after the work is done; a paused ad stops the same day. The risk is not the channel, it is buying activity instead of output. Compare agencies on units shipped and numbers moved, not on hours or on the size of the report.
SEO retainer or project: which is better?
+−
A project fixes a known problem, a retainer wins a market. Take a project when you need a migration, a rebuild or an audit and you have a team to act on it. Take a retainer when the goal is continuous ground gained, because search rankings move weekly and a quarterly engagement cannot respond to that.
Do I have to sign a 12-month contract?
+−
No. Both retainers run monthly, on 6 months or on 12 months, and you choose. Longer terms exist because compounding work rewards them, not because we need to lock you in. You own the site, repository, content and data from day one, so leaving is a notice period rather than a negotiation.
What is included in the retainer?
+−
Everything on the pricing page, with no line-item extras. Audits and diagnostics run continuously, the 90-day plan is broken into weekly releases, and implementation is handled end to end: pages, technical work, schema, internal links and source-layer actions, built and deployed by us. You also get direct access to the people doing the work, an approval gate before anything goes live, and a monthly decision memo.
What is the audit and is it credited?
+−
The AI SEO Audit is $500 and takes five business days. It maps the searches that end in revenue, checks where you rank on Google and Maps, and records what the AI engines answer when a buyer asks. The fee comes off your first month if you start a program within 14 days, and it is free with Local Search.
How does the Map Pack guarantee work?
+−
We freeze the searches and the question set in the service schedule before work starts. If you are not in the top 3 on Google Maps, or the AI engines are not naming you, by day 90, the guarantee applies. Money-back engagements get every program fee paid by then refunded. Work-free engagements pause billing and keep working until you are in. The guarantee is the top 3, never 1 exact slot, and the clock pauses if a platform falls over across the board.
Do we have to rebuild our site?
+−
Not always. If your current design is worth keeping, the Agentic Migration at $3,000 clones it faithfully onto infrastructure the loop can run, and you are live in days. If the design is what is holding you back, the audit will say so and the Full Build at $12,000 covers the whole rebuild. Local Search enters the same way: the Agentic Migration at $3,000, or the Full Build at $12,000. We would rather migrate than sell you a rebuild you do not need.
Who owns the website?
+−
You do, from day one. The site, the repository, the content and the data are yours, on your own hosting. There is no proprietary platform to leave and no lock-in past the term. If we part ways you keep everything and it keeps working.
How is monthly production counted?
+−
Each package has a literal page-release commitment. One release is one approved new page or one substantial rebuild of an existing page. Growth System includes 30 page releases and Agentic Search Engineering includes 50. Minor edits, technical fixes, schema, internal links, measurement and Source Layer work do not reduce the count.
What sits outside the package?
+−
Ad spend, third-party tooling and any subscription you keep in your own name sit outside the package. Everything Searchmaxxed produces, ships and measures is inside it, at the published price.
