Key takeaways
Evertune is a strong AI visibility tracker with paid media built in, so the right choice depends on whether you're buying measurement or results.
- Pick Evertune if you're a consumer brand or agency that wants solid AI visibility data and ChatGPT ads in one place.
- Budget for Pro if you need Perplexity, Claude or the 100-sample measurement.
- Look at Profound, Peec AI, Scrunch or Ahrefs Brand Radar for a different price point or your SEO suite's data.
- Pick Searchmaxxed if you want your company named in AI answers and ranking in Google, so buyers ask to talk to you.
Evertune AI is a generative engine optimisation (GEO) platform that tracks how often ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and eight other AI models recommend your brand. It then helps you close the gaps with content, affiliate placements and ChatGPT ads. Plans start at $60 monthly. Pro costs $800 monthly, billed annually, and Enterprise is custom. Our verdict? It's one of the most rigorous AI visibility trackers you can buy, though its product and client list lean toward consumer brands and advertisers. B2B teams will want Pro, plus someone to do the work it finds.
One disclosure first. Here at Searchmaxxed, we're a search team that does the work these tools measure, and we've listed ourselves among the options. We make your company the answer in Google and in the AI engines your buyers ask: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews. Then we turn those answers into a steady flow of high-intent leads and pipeline. Run marketing at a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company and want to be the name those answers give? Then we're the better call. A tracker can show you the gap. We close it.
What is Evertune AI?
Evertune AI is a New York marketing platform for brand discovery in AI search, founded in 2024 by early team members of The Trade Desk. Its pitch is that you can own "the AI customer journey", from the organic answer all the way to a paid ad inside ChatGPT.
One quick note. Search "Evertune review" and Google mostly shows you a guitar bridge, made by EverTune at evertune.com, a different company altogether. This one's about evertune.ai.

What does Evertune do?
Evertune works in four stages: Explore, Measure, Act and Advertise. You find the questions buyers ask AI and measure how each model answers, then fix the gaps and buy placements where you can't win yet. The features map like this:
| Stage | Main features | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Explore | Prompt Lab, Prompt Volumes, AI Usage | The questions people ask AI in your category |
| Measure | AI Brand Index, Word Association, Consumer Preferences | How often each model recommends you, and in what words |
| Act | Content Analytics, Content Studio, Site Audit, Partner Connect | Sources to target, drafts and crawler fixes |
| Advertise | Ads Manager, AI Search Intent, AI Retargeting | ChatGPT ads and retargeting off AI-cited sites |
Three features carry most of the weight.
Content Analytics lists every domain and URL the models cite in your category. It then scores each one for how much it shapes the model's view of the category, and how much it says about you. The result sorts sources into Owned URLs, Strength URLs that praise you, and Opportunity URLs that matter but skip you.
Content Studio and the Content Agent turn a weak topic into drafts built on the messages that test best with the models, says Evertune's FAQ. Pro includes 25 articles a month.
Ads Manager builds ChatGPT ad campaigns from your visibility gaps. It writes the ad copy and the context hints, which are plain descriptions of the conversations you want to appear in. You connect your own OpenAI Ads account.
Evertune's best-known case study is Halo Collar, a GPS dog-collar brand that sat fifth in ChatGPT's base model for its category in December 2025. Evertune's team used Content Studio to publish 15 articles on the attributes where Halo trailed. After ChatGPT's April 2026 model update, Evertune says Halo climbed to first, and its AI Brand Score jumped from 67 to 91.
How does Evertune measure AI visibility?
Evertune asks each tracked prompt up to 100 times per model, because AI models give a different answer almost every time you ask. One answer is a single roll of the dice. A hundred show you the odds.
Its methodology page puts numbers on that, using a July 2026 analysis of running-shoe prompts. Asked once each, 100 prompts carried a margin of error of ±9 points overall, and a wide ±31 points on any single topic. Ask each prompt 100 times and the margins shrink to ±1 and ±2. That's the difference between "we seem to be doing fine" and "we're losing the budget-buyer topic, and here's by how much".
Evertune also splits every reading in two:
- Base model data is what a model knows from training, reached through the model makers' APIs.
- Consumer app data is what the live app says after it searches the web, which is what your buyers see.
Evertune says it's the only platform that reports both, and the gap between the two tells you where to put your effort. Strong in the base model but weak in the app points to an SEO and content problem. Weak in both means a brand problem.
The prompts come from EverPanel, Evertune's panel of more than 150 million user conversations. By Evertune's count, over 80% of AI prompts are worded in a way nobody has used before, so a keyword list can't capture them.
The scores themselves are simple:
- Visibility Score: the share of answers that mention you, from 0 to 100.
- AI Brand Score: mentions weighted by position, where first place counts 100%, second 90%, third 81% and so on.
- Average Position: where you usually land in the list.
- Share of Answer: your slice of every brand mention in the category.
Want to run a rough version yourself before you buy anything? Our guide to tracking AI visibility shows how to set up the questions and read the results.
How much does Evertune cost?
Evertune costs $60 monthly on Starter, $800 monthly on Pro (billed annually) and a custom price on Enterprise. Ads cost extra: on top of your media spend, Evertune's Ads Agent takes 10% of media on Starter and 8% on Pro. Those figures come from its pricing page on 1 November 2026.
| Plan | Price | Prompt credits | AI models | Ads Agent fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $60 monthly | 5,000 a month | 5 | 10% of media |
| Pro | $800 monthly, billed annually | 100,000 a month | 11 | 8% of media |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | 11 | Custom |
Starter is new. Evertune launched it on 20 October 2026 as a self-serve plan: sign up with a card and launch ChatGPT ads without a sales call. Until then, Pro was the cheapest way in. The launch post says no contract is required, while the Starter FAQ says the $60 is billed annually. Check the terms at checkout.
Pro is where the measurement gets serious. It adds the 100-sample statistical significance and all 11 models, plus Prompt Volumes, Prompt Lab, Source Relevance Scoring, Partner Connect and data downloads. Enterprise adds Site Audit, Bot Analytics, a Fact Checker, keyword sentiment, cloud data exports and SSO.
How do prompt credits work?
A prompt credit is one answer from one model, and Evertune's calculator counts prompts × models × 3 samples a day × 30 days.
Here's a B2B example. Say you track 60 buyer questions, like "best email security for a 500-person company", on five Starter models, which comes to 27,000 credits a month. Starter includes 5,000. The calculator prices the other 22,000 at 2 US cents each, for a total of about $500 monthly.
Two more rules from the same calculator:
- Past 42,000 credits a month, it recommends Pro as the better value.
- Pick Perplexity, Claude, Meta AI, DeepSeek or a base model, and it moves you to Pro or above at any volume.
Pro's 100,000 credits cover 100 prompts on all 11 models at three samples a day, with 1,000 to spare. Before you size a plan, ask Evertune how its 100-sample readings draw on those credits, because the calculator assumes three samples a day.
Which AI engines does Evertune track?
Evertune tracks 11 models: ChatGPT, ChatGPT Search, Gemini, Gemini Search, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Meta AI, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity and DeepSeek. Starter covers five. Pro and Enterprise cover all 11.
| Plan | Models included |
|---|---|
| Starter | ChatGPT Search, Gemini Search, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot |
| Pro and Enterprise | All of Starter, plus ChatGPT and Gemini base models, Claude, Perplexity, Meta AI, DeepSeek |
That split matters more than it looks. Engines disagree about who to recommend, and our own panel of agency-buyer questions showed how far apart they sit:
Perplexity cited a review directory (Semrush Agencies, Clutch, DesignRush and the like) in 36 of 44 agency answers. ChatGPT did it in 20 and Claude in 15. One agency's Clutch profile had six reviews and was cited 20 times.
If your buyers research in Perplexity or Claude, a Starter dashboard won't show you what they see, and on Evertune that means paying for Pro.
Is Evertune a good fit for B2B SaaS and cybersecurity companies?
It can be, on Pro or Enterprise. B2B is on Evertune's list of sectors, but most of its named clients and examples are consumer brands such as Roku, Canada Goose and HexClad.
B2B buyers are already there. In G2's April 2026 survey of 1,076 B2B software buyers, AI chatbots were the top source shaping shortlists. And they act on what they read: 69% chose a different vendor than they'd planned because of a chatbot's guidance. Nearly half (45%) said review-site citations were the most confidence-inspiring signal in an AI answer.
Set against those needs, Evertune's plans look like this:
| What a B2B team needs | Evertune feature | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Track unbranded buyer questions | AI visibility tracking, competitor benchmarking | Starter |
| See Perplexity, Claude and base models | 11-model tracking | Pro |
| Rank the sources AI trusts | Source Relevance Scoring | Pro |
| Draft comparison and category pages | Content Agent, 25 articles a month | Pro |
| Check AI crawler access | Site Audit, Bot Analytics | Enterprise |
| SSO and cloud data exports | SSO, exports to cloud and APIs | Enterprise |
Starter suits a test of ChatGPT ads. A B2B measurement program starts at Pro, and security-conscious teams that need SSO will land on Enterprise.
What does Evertune leave to your team?
The work that earns the mention. Evertune finds the pages AI trusts and drafts content for your site. Its own FAQ says you earn a place on those pages "through PR outreach, review sites, affiliate partnerships and community engagement". Its Site Audit page makes the same point about crawler fixes: crawlability "is a prerequisite, not a strategy on its own".
That's the hard part, because the engines read far more than they cite. Our ChatGPT panel showed how much:
We put 300 Australian agency-buyer questions to ChatGPT three times each, with search on. It pulled 17,870 search results into those 900 answers and kept 4,389 as sources. Being found is the easy part. About three in four results it reads never make the answer.
And the winners are few:
Across 900 ChatGPT answers about Australian agencies, a single third-party "best agencies" site was cited in 168 of them. The next three were a second listicle, Semrush's agency directory and Clutch. If you want to be recommended, the job is getting onto the handful of pages the model already trusts.
Evertune's Partner Connect reaches some of those pages through impact.com, PartnerStack, The Trade Desk and Index Exchange. In B2B the cited pages are often review sites, analyst lists and trade press, which call for reviews, PR and outreach.
That's what we do at Searchmaxxed. We go after the searches and AI answers that bring buyers to you, then put your name on the pages those answers trust. We build the comparison, category and integration pages buyers ask about, and we fix the technical SEO that keeps engines out. Then we track which searches and AI answers turn into revenue, through your CRM as well as GA4. Our AI search optimisation service page covers the full scope, and our guide to showing up in AI search walks through every step.
What are the best Evertune alternatives?
The best Evertune alternative depends on what you're buying. Profound suits enterprise teams that want a free trial first, Peec AI is a lower-cost daily tracker, and Scrunch pairs monitoring with AI bot traffic. Ahrefs Brand Radar suits teams already on Ahrefs, and Searchmaxxed suits B2B companies that would rather pay for results than for a dashboard.
| Option | Best for | Starting price (as published) | AI engines on entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evertune | Consumer brands wanting measurement plus ChatGPT ads | $60 monthly (Starter) | 5; 11 on Pro |
| Profound | Enterprise teams wanting a trial first | Free 7-day trial; Enterprise custom | 3; up to 9 on Enterprise |
| Peec AI | SEO teams wanting daily tracking on a budget | $95 monthly (Starter, 50 prompts) | Choose 3 of 6 |
| Scrunch | Monitoring plus AI bot traffic and site audits | $250 monthly (Core, 125 prompts) | 4; 9 on Enterprise |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | Teams already paying for Ahrefs | Prompt tracking from $50 monthly | Six listed; Claude available |
| Searchmaxxed | High-value firms and enterprises that want AI answers to recommend them | Quoted after a free search analysis | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews |
Prices come from each vendor's pricing page on 1 November 2026: Profound, Peec AI, Scrunch and Ahrefs Brand Radar.
Profound offers a free trial of 50 prompts run daily for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. Enterprise tracks up to nine answer engines. Both plans include Agent Analytics, which tracks AI-sourced traffic through integrations like Cloudflare, Vercel and Google Analytics. Our Profound alternatives guide goes deeper.
Peec AI costs $95 monthly on Starter for 50 prompts, unlimited users and three models of your choice, each checked once a day. Enterprise opens up to 13 models.
Scrunch Core costs $250 monthly for 125 prompts and 5,000 responses on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot, plus five site audits. It adds AI bot traffic and a seven-day free trial.
Ahrefs Brand Radar charges from $50 monthly for custom prompt tracking ($699 for all models), and its AI Visibility Index starts at $199. It maps any brand across 519 million prompts.
For the wider field, see our comparison of 12 AI visibility tools, which sets out what each one measures and what it costs.
Is Evertune worth it?
Yes, if you'll act on what it shows you. Evertune's sampling gives you numbers you can defend in a board meeting, and Ads Manager keeps you visible while organic work catches up. But a dashboard alone moves nothing. The value comes from the fixes, the content and the mentions that follow.
| Your situation | Our pick |
|---|---|
| Consumer brand wanting ChatGPT ads from visibility data | Evertune Starter |
| Brand team reporting AI visibility to the board | Evertune Pro |
| Enterprise needing SSO and crawler analytics | Evertune Enterprise or Profound |
| SEO team wanting a daily tracker on a budget | Peec AI |
| Already paying for Ahrefs | Ahrefs Brand Radar |
| B2B company that wants to be the recommended answer | Searchmaxxed |
Is Searchmaxxed right for you?
We're a strong fit for law firms, clinics and premium builders that are losing ground in Google or missing from AI answers. Maybe your SEO team hasn't caught up either. You want your company named when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini or Google who to choose, and you want it to turn into pipeline.
Here's what you get. You talk to the people doing the work, with no account manager in between. We take more of the searches and AI answers that matter to your buyers, and we track which ones turn into revenue. You own your site, your content and your data from day one.
One client came to us with a website that wasn't working. Three months later he was on page one for one of the most competitive searches in his industry. Now he has more high-intent leads than he can handle, and we're building the systems to handle them.
The bigger picture:
Searchmaxxed's work has generated more than $15 million in revenue through search for its clients.
"I can't believe this worked." That's what we hear. Clients tell us they finally found a growth partner in search that keeps its word and gets things done.
We're the wrong call in three cases:
- You need leads this month just to survive, and search takes longer than that.
- You're a consumer brand that mainly wants ChatGPT ads driven by visibility data. Evertune's Starter plan does that.
- You only want a dashboard to watch in-house, in which case any tracker in the table above will do that job.
Pick Searchmaxxed if you want to be the company AI answers recommend, so more of the right buyers ask to talk to you.
What should you do next?
Run 20 of your buyers' questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google this week, and write down who gets named. Not you? Then you've found your starting point.

Does Evertune have a free trial?
Evertune has no free plan. On Starter, the Ads Agent's first seven days are free, then it charges 10% of media spend on top of the $60 monthly fee. If you want a free look at an AI visibility tracker first, Profound and Scrunch both publish seven-day free trials.
Who founded Evertune?
Brian Stempeck (CEO), Ed Chater (CPO) and Poul Costinsky (CSO) co-founded Evertune in 2024, after working as early team members at The Trade Desk. Evertune is based in New York, with offices in Seattle and Denver.

Is Evertune better than Profound?
Neither wins outright. Evertune samples each prompt up to 100 times per model, reports base-model and live-app answers separately, runs ChatGPT ads and publishes Starter and Pro prices. Profound offers a free seven-day trial, tracks up to nine engines on Enterprise and tracks AI-sourced traffic with Agent Analytics. Pick on the features you'll use.
Can Evertune run ads in ChatGPT?

Does Evertune write content?
Yes. Its Content Agent drafts articles from your visibility gaps in six templates, from 250 to 3,000 words, following your brand guidelines. You can export drafts as Markdown or HTML, and Pro includes 25 articles a month, with unlimited content generation on Enterprise.
Is Evertune AI the same as the EverTune guitar bridge?
No. EverTune at evertune.com makes a guitar bridge that holds strings in tune, and it dominates "Evertune review" searches. Evertune AI at evertune.ai is a separate company that tracks brand visibility in AI answers.
