The best AI SEO agency for a founder-led company that wants search work shipped and measured every week is Searchmaxxed. I'm Brenden House and I run it, so I put it first. Our agents read your Search Console and GA4 every week and check your competitors and AI answers. A person approves every change. B2B software companies should call Optimist, SimpleTiger or Omnius. For enterprise technical depth, call iPullRank. If you want a large US bench, compare Coalition Technologies, Thrive and OuterBox. Searchbloom suits mid-market brands wanting a documented framework. SeoProfy has the lowest published starting price here.[1]

How did I choose them?
I checked every agency against the same five tests, using only what it publishes on its own website. I read those pages on 28 September 2026. This is my selection, made from public evidence. No survey, award or client-satisfaction score sits behind it.
- A real presence or team. Can you see where the agency works and who does the work?
- A published method. Does it explain how it does the work, step by step?
- Proof it publishes. Does it put numbers on client results? I quote each one as the agency's claim.
- What it ships versus what it reports. Does the agency build pages and fixes, or mostly send dashboards?
- AI search capability. Does it say which AI engines it works on and how it checks them?
The search results for "best AI SEO agency" explain why a list like this needs its sources on show. In the US results I captured, agency websites held most of the page: four agency-written lists and three agency service pages. Revv Growth, Optimist, Searchbloom and Percepture each rank their own list. Optimist says it plainly: "Most “best AI SEO agency” lists are published by one of the agencies on the list, and the author always ranks itself first."[2] Mine has the same bias, so every claim below links to the page it came from.
1. Searchmaxxed: best for founders who want search work shipped every week
Searchmaxxed suits a founder or growth lead who wants one team to find each gap and fix it, then check the result every week. We do agentic SEO. Our AI agents plug into your Search Console and GA4, and a person approves every change.
- Where they are: A Queensland team working from the Sunshine Coast. We work with companies Australia-wide and take on companies beyond Australia too.
- What they sell: Page releases on your Agentic Website, which lives on GitHub and Vercel and which you own. Links, reviews and press come through the Off-Page Source Layer. Packages are Local Search, Growth System, Agentic Search Engineering and Custom & Enterprise.
- Proof they publish: Radiant Roof Repairs went from zero to more than A$1 million a year in revenue, using SEO as the only marketing channel. Before Searchmaxxed, I did that work by hand. By my own count, our work has generated more than A$10 million in revenue through search for our clients.
- Pricing: Let's talk pricing. We quote each business after we look at its website, market and goals.
- AI search: AEO and GEO sit inside every managed package. Each week our agents check your competitors and AI answers, and the Managed Search Loop picks the next job.
- Ask them: Ask us to open your Search Console on the first call and tell you what we would ship first.
2. Optimist: best for B2B SaaS teams that report on pipeline
Optimist[3] suits B2B technology and software companies that want SEO and AEO run as one system. Founder Tyler Hakes started it in 2016, and he works on every engagement.[4][5] Its case studies lead with revenue. In its own words: "Those are revenue and conversion numbers, not just visibility scores."[6]
- Where they are: The pages I captured show no office address. Optimist says it works with teams from Series A startups to global enterprises.[3]
- What they sell: SEO and AEO under its CORE framework.[7] You can buy a roadmap, an advisory retainer for an in-house team, or full service through publishing.[8][9]
- Proof they publish: Optimist says "One B2B technology client grew LLM referral revenue 49x over 14 months."[10]
- Pricing: Roadmaps start at USD 7,500 and advisory at USD 3,000 a month. Full service starts at USD 4,000 a month, and every retainer is month-to-month.[8][9][11]
- AI search: Its first analysis benchmarks you across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.[12] Ongoing tracking covers any AI model that matters to your brand.[13]
- Ask them: Ask which revenue result came from a company like yours, and how they tied it to AI referrals.
3. iPullRank: best for enterprise teams with hard technical problems
iPullRank[14] suits large organisations whose AI search problem sits in the technical plumbing. It runs the work "human-led and AI-powered with people making the calls".[15] I like its candour, because its GEO page says: "No one has fully figured out GEO yet."[16]
- Where they are: Its team page shows staff working from home offices across the US and from a New York office.[14]
- What they sell: AI search strategy and GEO in three stages: assess, prioritise and activate.[17] It also helps companies set up their own in-house GEO team.[18]
- Proof they publish: iPullRank headlines $290M in revenue for a global eCommerce marketplace, where "AI content for their category pages led to sustained visibility".[19][20] It says many Fortune 100 clients sign NDAs, so its case studies don't lead with brand names.[21]
- Pricing: Not published.
- AI search: Its AI search planning asks whether you track citations, recommendations, mentions and referrals.[22]
- Ask them: Ask for a case they can walk you through under NDA, and who would run your work each week.
4. Coalition Technologies: best for product brands wanting a large specialist bench
Coalition Technologies[23] ranks near the top of this search with its own AI SEO page. It suits product and ecommerce brands that want a big team behind them. It says clients get access to 250+ specialists in SEO, AI SEO, development and copywriting.[24]
- Where they are: Los Angeles, serving clients around the world.[23]
- What they sell: SEO, AI SEO, development, copywriting and paid media. It says it does not require 12- or 24-month contracts.[25]
- Proof they publish: Coalition says Food Fire Knives "saw a 266.7% increase in AI-driven search sessions within five months."[26]
- Pricing: Not published. Its pricing page runs a budget estimator from your revenue.[27]
- AI search: It works on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot.[28] Its tracking checks whether each AI answer cites, mentions, recommends, misrepresents or misses you.[29]
- Ask them: Ask how many of those specialists would work on your account each month, and who leads it.
5. Thrive: best for businesses wanting AI SEO inside a broad agency
Thrive[30] suits a business that wants AI search handled by the same agency running its website, ads and social. It says it works with clients of all sizes, from startups to multi-location enterprises.[31] It also offers month-to-month contracts.[32]
- Where they are: Headquartered in Arlington, Texas.[30] It says it has more than 160 employees across 34 states and 10 countries.[33]
- What they sell: Generative engine optimisation within a wide digital marketing menu. Its GEO process covers content analysis, keyword research, technical SEO, review management and ongoing monitoring.[34]
- Proof they publish: Thrive says its work for a Mexican shoe company led to a "610% increase in ChatGPT traffic".[35]
- Pricing: Not published. The lowest budget band on its enquiry form is USD 2,500 to 5,000 a month, excluding ad spend.[36][37]
- AI search: Its AI SEO page covers Gemini, ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews.[38]
- Ask them: Ask who does your AI search work each week, and how it connects to your other channels.
6. OuterBox: best for ecommerce and B2B brands that report in GA4
OuterBox[39] suits ecommerce and B2B brands that want AI visibility tied to leads and sales in their own analytics. It started in 2004 and now describes a team of 300+ specialists.[40] Its AI page reads like a reporting spec, which helps when a board wants numbers.
- Where they are: The pages I captured show no street address. It says its SEO experts are USA-based and in-house.[41]
- What they sell: AI SEO that rests on crawl access, content structure, entity clarity, technical SEO, internal links and conversion paths.[42]
- Proof they publish: OuterBox says a Home Gym & Fitness Brand "lifted organic revenue 118%" after a post-migration audit.[43]
- Pricing: Its Essentials SEO package costs USD 2,000 a month.[41] Its AI SEO page puts most US agencies at USD 3,000 to 7,500 a month.[44]
- AI search: LLM citation monitoring across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.[45] It also ties AI-driven sessions to assisted conversions inside GA4.[46]
- Ask them: Ask which package includes the AI citation monitoring, and what it adds to the monthly fee.
7. Searchbloom: best for mid-market brands wanting a documented AI method
Searchbloom[47] suits mid-market operators who want to read the method before they buy it.[48] It publishes MERIT, an AI SEO framework with five pillars and fifteen chapters.[49] It measures citations with Peec AI and checks them against Ahrefs Brand Radar.[50]
- Where they are: The pages I captured show no street address. Its company page cites a Utah 100 fast-growth listing.[51]

- AI search: It tracks which brands AI answers cite for your prompts, and how that share moves over time.[54]
- Ask them: Ask to see a citation-share report from a client in your category.
8. SimpleTiger: best for SaaS and AI companies
SimpleTiger[55] suits SaaS and AI companies that want SEO and AEO from a team focused on software buyers. Its AI SEO page opens with a row of SaaS client logos.[56] It says it won a Spring 2026 Clutch Global Award.[57]

Omnius[61] is a B2B SEO and AI search agency based in Europe. It says it helps SaaS, fintech and AI companies in AI search.[62] It built its own tracking tool, so it can read Google and the AI assistants in one place.[63]

- Ask them: Ask what the entry-level package includes for AI search, and what it leaves out.
How should you choose the best AI SEO agency for you?
Choose the agency whose proof matches your business, then test whether it ships work or only reports on it. Ask each agency these questions on the first call. If you're buying in Australia, see my shortlist of the best AI SEO agencies in Australia.
- Presence. Who will you talk to each week? Ask for names, and ask whether those people do the work.
- Method. Ask them to walk you through one week of work, from data to a live change.
- Proof. Optimist's own advice is sound: "Ask for a named client where AI visibility produced pipeline, and watch whether the answer is a revenue figure or a citation screenshot."[73]
- Shipping versus reporting. Ask who writes the pages and who puts them live. Then ask how you see each release.
- AI search. Ask which engines they check, how often and where you see the results. Google counts AI Overviews and AI Mode traffic inside Search Console, so ask to see it there.[74]
Two more checks matter at the end. Ask who owns the website, content and data if you leave. Then ask what the fee pays for each month in pages, fixes and off-site work.
At Searchmaxxed, the Managed Search Loop reads your data every week and picks the next job. A person checks each change before it goes live.
What does an AI SEO agency cost in 2026?
Published starting prices for ongoing SEO and AI search work in this set run from USD 1,600 to USD 4,000 a month.[1][9] I read every figure on 28 September 2026. OuterBox puts most US agencies at USD 3,000 to 7,500 a month, "$100–$250 per hour" or "$5,000–$50,000 for project-based work".[44] Compare each fee with what ships each month.
Searchmaxxed quotes each business after we look at its website, market and goals. Our pricing page shows what each package includes. The Growth System ships 30 page releases a month on your Agentic Website. Agentic Search Engineering ships 50, plus press, digital PR and link campaigns through the Off-Page Source Layer. Let's talk pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI agent is best for SEO?
The best AI agent for SEO is one wired into your own Search Console and GA4, with a person approving what it changes. A general chatbot can't see your data. At Searchmaxxed we build agents that read your Search Console, GA4, competitor pages and AI answers every week. That data feeds the Managed Search Loop, which picks the next job. iPullRank describes the same balance as "human-led and AI-powered with people making the calls".[15]
Which AI tool is best for SEO?
Start with Google Search Console, because Google counts AI Overviews and AI Mode traffic inside it.[74] Then add a tool that samples AI answers. Searchbloom uses Peec AI and checks it against Ahrefs Brand Radar.[50] Omnius built its own tracker.[63] The tool matters less than the person who acts on it each week.
Is SEO still worth it in 2026?
Yes. Google tells site owners to apply the same SEO basics to AI Overviews and AI Mode.[75] A page must be indexed and eligible for a snippet, and Google sets no extra technical requirements.[76] Before Searchmaxxed, I built Radiant Roof Repairs from zero to more than A$1 million a year in revenue, using SEO as the only marketing channel.
Can you do SEO with AI?
Yes, as long as a person still makes the calls. At Searchmaxxed our agents gather the data and help draft the work. A person checks every change before it goes live, then the agents measure what it did. SeoProfy says its team "uses neural network models for keyword selection".[77]
What is an AI SEO agency?
An AI SEO agency works to make Google rank your business and AI answers name it, across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI features. The work spans SEO, AEO for answer engines and GEO for generative engines. Some agencies also use AI agents to do the work. We do both.
What do AI SEO services include?
AI SEO services usually include technical fixes, structured content, schema, entity work, off-site mentions and AI answer tracking. Our AI search optimisation service ships this work as weekly releases on your Agentic Website. The off-site work runs through the Off-Page Source Layer.
Can an AI SEO agency promise that ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No. Nobody controls what an AI answer says on a given day. Google says AI Overviews appear only when its systems judge them additive, so they often don't show at all.[78] Ask an agency to commit to the work and the measurement. We commit to weekly releases and the checks that follow them.
How do I check whether AI answers mention my business?
Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google the questions your buyers ask, and note which businesses they name. Repeat it every week, because one answer proves little. Coalition makes the point well: "A single prompt result only produces a false sense of certainty."[79] Then open Search Console, where Google counts AI Overviews and AI Mode traffic.[74] Our agents run these checks for clients every week.
Who does the work at an AI SEO agency?
It varies, so ask for names. At Searchmaxxed you deal with the people doing the work, with no account managers. I set the direction and read the weekly evidence. I also write the money pages and approve what ships. Optimist says its founder "works directly with every Optimist engagement."[5]
Should I use Clutch or another directory to find an AI SEO agency?
Use directories for review counts, then judge each agency on its own pages. In the US results I captured, a Reddit thread, Revv Growth's list and Coalition's AI SEO page held the top three organic spots. Agencies put directory badges on their own sites. SimpleTiger shows a Spring 2026 Clutch Global Award[57], and SeoProfy shows a Clutch GEO badge for 2026.[80]
