TLDR
  • Pick Searchmaxxed for agentic SEO. Our Managed Search Loop picks the next job each week, and we ship it to an Agentic Website you own.
  • Pick Digital Nomads HQ for a large in-house team in Mooloolaba, AI SEO case studies and month-to-month terms.[1][2]
  • Pick Websites That Sell if you run a local service business and want suburb-level targeting from a Sunshine Coast office.[3][4]
  • Pick BAMBRICK for SEO run beside Google Ads and conversion work, from an agency with a Sippy Downs office.[5][6]
  • Pick Lucky 44 if you're a sole trader who wants a fixed-price audit or wants to learn SEO yourself.[7][8]
  • Pick SunCoast Digital if your service business turns over $750k or more and needs a new website with SEO.[9]
  • Lucky 44 publishes a price for each SEO service.[10] The others quote on enquiry, and so do we: let's talk pricing.

My pick for an SEO agency on the Sunshine Coast is Searchmaxxed, and I run it. It suits businesses that want their site changed every week and each change measured in Search Console and GA4. Five local agencies also belong on your shortlist: Digital Nomads HQ, Websites That Sell, BAMBRICK, Lucky 44 and SunCoast Digital. Each one suits a different buyer. I checked what every agency publishes on 28 September 2026.

Which Sunshine Coast SEO agencies made my shortlist?

Six agencies made my 2026 shortlist: Searchmaxxed plus five with a published local base.

How did I choose them?

I chose them on five criteria and applied each one the same way to every agency:

  • A genuine presence on the Sunshine Coast: an office, a head office or a team based here.
  • A published method: what the agency does, and in what order.
  • Proof it publishes: case studies with numbers, which I quote as the agency's own claim.
  • What it ships each month, compared with what it only reports.
  • AI search: what it says it does for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews.

I read each agency's own pages on 28 September 2026. This is my own selection. No survey, award or client-satisfaction score sits behind it.

When I searched "seo agency sunshine coast" that day, Lucky 44, Digital Nomads HQ and Websites That Sell held the map pack.[18] The Semrush page for Sunshine Coast B2B services shows one agency with a local office.[19] APAC Insider ranks seven agencies by how long they have operated.[20] I ordered my list by what each agency publishes about its work.

1. Searchmaxxed: best for businesses that want weekly releases on a site they own

Searchmaxxed does agentic SEO. Our AI agents plug into your Search Console and GA4. Every week they scrape your competitors, read the Google results and check what AI answers say about you. Our Managed Search Loop then picks the next best job. It suits founders who want a team to run search for them.

  • Where they are: A Queensland team working Australia-wide. I'm on the Sunshine Coast, and you talk to the people doing the work.
  • What they sell: We ship pages, fixes and schema on your Agentic Website, which lives on GitHub and Vercel and which you own. Links, reviews and press go through our Off-Page Source Layer, and a person checks every change before it goes live.
  • Proof they publish: I took Radiant Roof Repairs from zero to more than $1 million a year, with search as its only marketing channel. I ran those steps by hand, and the agents now run them every week. Across our client book, I count more than $10 million in revenue through search.
  • Pricing: Let's talk pricing.
  • AI search: AEO and GEO come inside every managed package. Agentic Search Engineering tracks AI answers across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews.
  • Ask them: What would the first four weekly releases be for my site, and how would you measure each one?

2. Digital Nomads HQ: best for a large in-house team with AI SEO case studies

Digital Nomads HQ[21] suits growing and established businesses that want a bigger team for a local, national or ecommerce campaign.[22] It held the second map-pack spot for this search on 28 September 2026, with 4.9 stars from 108 Google reviews.[18]

  • Where they are: A head office at 208/45 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba.[1] It says it has been based on the Sunshine Coast for 8+ years.[23]
  • What they sell: SEO, AI SEO, Google Ads, web design and social media from one in-house team.[21] Its packages run on its SearchLight framework, with a live dashboard and a monthly report.[24][25]
  • Proof they publish: It says Air Charter Network's traffic tripled, with 3,000 keywords ranking and 92 pages cited by AI search in nine months.[26] It also says Adelaide Expo Hire went from zero ranked keywords to #1 in five cities.[27]
  • Pricing: Not published on its packages page, and terms run month-to-month.[11][2]
  • AI search: It says its Searchlight SEO "gets your brand cited in those answers, not just ranked in search results".[12] It also offers a free AI visibility audit.[13]
  • Ask them: Which of those 92 AI-cited pages brought enquiries, and how did you measure that?[26]

3. Websites That Sell: best for local service businesses targeting suburbs

Websites That Sell[28] suits trades, practices and online stores that want a local team they can visit.[29] It held the third map-pack spot for this search on 28 September 2026, with five stars from 41 Google reviews.[18]

  • Where they are: Its SEO team works from a Sunshine Coast office, and clients deal with them directly.[3]
  • What they sell: Web design, Google and Meta ads, SEO and social media.[28] It targets only the suburbs a client serves, such as Caloundra West (Aura), Harmony, Beerwah and Nambour.[4]
  • Proof they publish: A local SEO client had its best month after 12 months, with 138 phone calls in 30 days.[30] An online store went from a few local sales to $7,000 in weekly sales.[31]
  • Pricing: Not published, and it offers a free quote and strategy outline.[14]
  • AI search: It says its semantic SEO gives content "a higher chance of being considered for Google's AI Overviews".[15]
  • Ask them: Which suburbs would you target first for my business, and why?

4. BAMBRICK: best for SEO run beside paid ads and conversion work

BAMBRICK[5] suits businesses that want SEO, paid ads and conversion work under one roof, judged on money. Its homepage says, "If it doesn't directly make our clients money, or it can't be tracked, we don't do it."[32]

  • Where they are: Brisbane is its home market, with a Sunshine Coast office at 1/30 Chancellor Village Blvd, Sippy Downs.[33][6] It counts 35+ people and 150+ clients.[34]
  • What they sell: A team of SEO, Google Ads, social and CRO specialists.[5] Its SEO maps search opportunities to pages, then strengthens content and technical performance.[35]
  • Proof they publish: A testimonial from Jimboomba Turf Group, a client for about 18 months.[36] I found no case study with numbers in the pages I checked.
  • Pricing: Not published, and new clients start with a free 60-minute strategy session.[37]
  • AI search: It treats "AI SEO as part of modern search engine optimisation, not a separate gimmick".[16] Its SEO page names AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity as places customers now search.[38]
  • Ask them: Will my account run from Sippy Downs or Brisbane, and who does the work each week?

5. Lucky 44: best for sole traders who want a fixed-price audit or SEO training

Lucky 44[39] suits sole traders and small businesses on a tight budget, plus owners who want to learn SEO themselves.[40][41] It held the first map-pack spot for this search on 28 September 2026, with five stars from 78 Google reviews.[18]

  • Where they are: A small team based in Maroochydore.[40]
  • What they sell: A one-off audit, fix and refresh, a three-month fix for neglected sites, and monthly SEO.[7] Tanya Northey also runs 3-hour 1:1 coaching sessions for owners who built their own site.[42][43]
  • Proof they publish: Client testimonials, such as a celebrant's review of a 3-hour coaching session.[44] I found no case study with numbers.
  • Pricing: The audit costs $795 + GST, and the three-month fix costs $3000 + GST.[8][45] Monthly SEO starts from $1500 + GST, though its packages showed "NO SPOTS AVAILABLE - CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY".[10][46]
  • AI search: Its audit adds schema so a site is "ready for the future", which it ties to AI answers and voice search.[17]
  • Ask them: When does a monthly spot open, and what will the audit fix on my site?

6. SunCoast Digital: best for established service businesses that need a new site and SEO

SunCoast Digital[47] suits service businesses doing $750k–$1M+ that want to grow.[9] It names construction, landscaping, automotive and professional services.[48] It says it is the wrong place for anyone after a $500 website.[49]

  • Where they are: It says it is proudly based on the Sunshine Coast, and its published address is PO Box 1757, Buderim.[50][51]
  • What they sell: SEO, website design and digital strategy for service businesses ready to scale.[47] Two founders run it: one started out as a dentist, and the other consulted to corporate management.[52][53][54]
  • Proof they publish: Its site shows 5.0 from 19 Google reviews.[55] One reviewer, Adare Enterprises, says its return "has paid off five-fold".[56]
  • Pricing: Not published.
  • AI search: None in the pages I checked.
  • Ask them: Can you show one SEO client's leads before and after, with dates?

How should you choose an SEO agency on the Sunshine Coast?

Run every agency through the same five tests I used. Each test comes with one question to ask on the call.

  • Check presence. Ask where the person running your account sits. A local office helps if you want to meet face to face.
  • Check the method. Ask what ships in month one, week by week. A plan with dates beats a list of services.
  • Check the proof. Ask for a case study with a number, a date and a market. Then ask how they measured it.
  • Check what ships. Ask who writes and deploys the pages. Ask who owns the site, content and data if you leave.
  • Check AI search. Ask them to show what ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews say about you today, before you sign.

At Searchmaxxed, those five answers come from one system. The Managed Search Loop sets the weekly plan, and your Agentic Website carries the releases you own. The Off-Page Source Layer builds the reviews, citations and mentions that AI engines draw on.

If you only sell to customers on the coast, read how we run local SEO. If you sell further afield, start with SEO.

What does SEO cost on the Sunshine Coast?

Lucky 44 publishes a price for each SEO service, and each price excludes GST. Its audit, fix and refresh costs $795 + GST.[8] Its three-month fix costs $3000 + GST.[45] Its monthly SEO package starts from $1500 + GST per month.[10] Its SEO and Google Ads combo costs $2000 + GST per month, with ad spend on top.[57]

Digital Nomads HQ names its packages without figures on its packages page.[11] Websites That Sell offers a free quote.[14] BAMBRICK starts with a free strategy session.[37] SunCoast Digital publishes no prices.

Searchmaxxed publishes no fee either. The price moves with page output each month and the off-page work. Local Search, the Growth System and Agentic Search Engineering differ on those two things, and our pricing page shows what each includes. Let's talk pricing.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I expect to pay for SEO?

On the Sunshine Coast, Lucky 44's monthly SEO package starts from $1500 + GST per month.[10] Its one-off audit costs $795 + GST.[8] The other agencies on my list quote on enquiry. Searchmaxxed quotes after we look at your site, market and goals, so let's talk pricing.

Is SEO still worth it in 2026?

Yes, when the work targets the searches that bring customers and someone measures the result. I built Radiant Roof Repairs to more than $1 million a year with SEO as its only marketing channel. BAMBRICK makes the same call on its SEO page.[58] Our Managed Search Loop measures every release against Search Console and GA4.

Is SEO replaced by AI?

No. AI answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google still name businesses. Those names come from pages and sources you can shape. Our agents check what AI answers say about you each week. Our Off-Page Source Layer builds the reviews, citations and mentions those answers draw on.

Which SEO agency is the best in Australia?

No independent measure settles it, so treat every "best" list as someone's selection, mine included. I put Searchmaxxed first because we ship and measure work every week on a site you own. My national list is the best AI SEO agencies in Australia.

Do I need an SEO agency based on the Sunshine Coast?

You need one that knows your market, and a local base helps if you want to meet in person. Websites That Sell, for example, targets suburbs such as Beerwah and Nambour.[4] Searchmaxxed is a Queensland team, and I'm on the Sunshine Coast.

How long does SEO take to work?

Expect months, with early signs sooner. At Radiant Roof Repairs, three high-intent Gold Coast roofing searches reached number one within 90 days.[59] Websites That Sell reports that one local client had its best month after 12 months.[30] Your market and your starting point set the pace.

Can an SEO agency promise page one?

No agency controls Google or AI answers, so treat any promise of a position with care. APAC Insider advises walking away from anyone promising number one in 30 days.[60] Ask what ships each week and how they will measure it.

Should I sign a long SEO contract?

Choose terms you understand before any work starts. Digital Nomads HQ runs month-to-month.[2] Searchmaxxed offers monthly, six-month or 12-month terms, and we agree the term on the call.

Who should own my website and content?

You should. At Searchmaxxed you own the site, the repository, the content and the data from day one. Your Agentic Website lives on GitHub and Vercel, so it stays yours.

Should I learn SEO myself or hire an agency?

Learn it yourself if your budget is small and you enjoy the work. Lucky 44 runs 3-hour 1:1 coaching sessions.[43] Smartfish also ranks for SEO training on the Sunshine Coast.[61] Hire an agency when you want a team to run the agreed work for you.

How do I check whether an agency can get me into AI answers?

Ask them to show what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say about you now. Then ask how often they will check again. Digital Nomads HQ offers a free AI visibility audit.[13] At Searchmaxxed our agents check those answers every week.

What's the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO wins you places in Google's ranked results. AEO makes your business the answer in places such as Google's AI Overviews. GEO gets generative engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity to cite your business. We do all three through SEO, AEO and GEO.
